The Rainforest Alliance Learning Site offers for free excellent, multidisciplinary curricula on forests, wildlife and local communities providing a global perspective on the importance of protecting the world's natural resources, helping students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade understand how rainforests contribute to our collective well-being. It is time to give them back, and help RA to maintain its environmental education program.

Every year cca. 640,000 tons of fishing nets are left behind in our seas and oceans, drifting like ghosts in the marine ecosystem for even hundreds of years, capturing and killing marine animals and accumulating marine litter. The Healthy Seas Initiative recovers these nets, and then re-cycles them into products, such as socks or swimwear. Last year alone they recovered 108.65 tons of nets. That is awesome!

The mentally challenged and handicapped people are amongst us to show what unconditional love is. Therefore they are the most precious, the jewels of all humans. Yet, they are the least valued. This simply has to change.

There are many small organizations trying to make a change, for them, for us. Even their combined effort is still almost invisible in the public eye.

We support organizations that give something back to the mentally handicapped, improving their life qualities, bringing to them experiences, fun, art, music, opportunities for self-expression, taking them to see and explore the world, enriching their lives the best ways they can embrace that. The Hungarian Special Art Workshop Association provides such children and adults the opportunity to try their strength and talents in different art forms and develop their skills in the field they enjoy best.

"With this series I wanted to focus on phytoplanktons as the foundation of the oceanic food chain therefore are important indicators of marine ecosystem health and coral reefs that provide tremendous biological diversity." Agnes

"These pictures were inspired by the positive traits of mentally handicapped people and they mean to raise awareness of their values to disilliusion any fear about them." Agnes

"It breaks my heart that we're losing our rain forests. But instead of focussing on their tragedy I decided to remind people of their richness, the colorfulness, the diversity they deliver to us. Hopefully by changing the discourse people will attach more value to them when they are not submerged in their guilt ." Agnes
